Installation Technician (all genders)

Your mission

  • Construction planning and coordination in consultation with local assembly companies, suppliers and customer representatives
  • Supervision of assembly and, if necessary, management of the mechanical assembly of systems/parts, machines and individual components
  • Support with the commissioning of plants and plant components in cooperation with the site manager/commissioning engineer
  • Carrying out plant inspections, maintenance, revisions, etc.
  • Control of delivered machines and components and compilation of records of box opening
  • Compliance with ITP's (Inspection Test Procedures) and documentation
  • Carrying out handover tests (incl. performance and no-load tests) and preparing assembly-handover reports
  • Preparation of deviation reports (incl. determination and implementation of minor measures) and progress reports
  • Support in organizing and setting up the respective construction site
  • Technical guidance of the installation personnel
  • Regular participation in progress meetings with customers and contact persons on site as well as internal departments (incl. reporting)
  • Conducting training courses and tutorials

Your profile

  • A completed technical degree (e.g. in mechanical engineering) or a vocational training with an additional technical qualification (e.g. as a certified foreman)
  • Profound knowledge of plant construction with regard to foreign assembly and international construction sites, preferably in cement technology
  • Knowledge of welding technology and in-depth knowledge of HSE / SCC
  • General commercial understanding, especially contractual basics
  • Excellent organizational skills (time and task management, processes, personnel)
  • Willingness and ability to work at great heights and in confined spaces
  • Analytical thinking, structured way of working, intercultural competence and willingness to travel worldwide (90%)
  • Fluent proficiency in written and spoken German and English
  • Proficient in MS Office and common IT applications
